We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) Specialist to join our team. As an OCPP Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining OCPP-compliant charging solutions for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a deep understanding of OCPP specifications, and a passion for renewable energy technologies.

• Design and develop OCPP-compliant software solutions for electric vehicle charging stations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OCPP protocols into existing charging infrastructure.
• Implement secure and reliable communication protocols for remote management and monitoring of charging stations.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of OCPP implementations to ensure compliance and reliability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal teams and external partners.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to OCPP and electric vehicle charging.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of OCPP implementations through feedback, innovation, and optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on network protocols and embedded systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• In-depth knowledge of OCPP specifications (e.g., OCPP 1.6, OCPP 2.0) and related protocols (e.g., SOAP, JSON-RPC).
• Experience with communication technologies commonly used in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, such as TCP/IP, WebSocket, and MQTT.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices for securing networked systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
